Venapce · osctrl trial space

Your osctrl space is ready

The license manager finished provisioning a hosted osctrl environment for you. Your credentials are below — copy them into Venapce settings, or use them to sign in to the osctrl panel.

This is a fast-bootstrap trial served from Inflowenger infrastructure so you can start without standing up your own stack. For production we still strongly recommend the all-in-one osctrl install the Venapce team provides — see the tutorial below.

Your credentials

Copy these into Venapce

Keep this page private — it carries your one-time trial password in the URL. Copy each value with the button on its right.

No credentials were found in the page URL. Open the link exactly as it was sent to you after the osctrl space request — it carries your username, password and environment as query parameters.

Tutorial

Wire the trial space into Venapce

Two minutes. Paste the credentials above into Venapce so its osctrl plugin can reach the hosted environment.

  1. 1

    Open the osctrl connection card

In your Venapce panel go to Settings and expand the osctrl connection card, then the Run your own osctrl form. This is the connection behind the Nodes area — enrolled systems and enroll commands.

  2. 2

    Paste the connection values

Map the values from the card above onto the form fields exactly:

    Username
    Default environment
    Password
  3. 3

    Save, then test the connection

Click Save connection, then Test. Venapce encrypts the credentials server-side, logs into the hosted osctrl API, and turns the card status to Connected. The password never stays in the browser — from then on the osctrl plugin runs on every collection cycle.

  4. 4

Sign in to the osctrl panel (optional)

You can also log in to the osctrl admin panel directly with the same username and password to enroll endpoints and browse osquery results.

Moving to production?

This trial space lives on shared Inflowenger infrastructure — inflowenger takes no responsibility for its data. When you're ready, run your own osctrl with the all-in-one deployment the Venapce team ships (github.com/Venapce/aio-osctrl), then point the same osctrl connection card at your host. See also Venapce.
